ALTF4 Digital ("ALTF4", "we", "us") operates altf4digital.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
1. Data We Collect
Contact form. When you contact us through the form on our site, we collect the name, email address and message you provide. We use this data only to reply to your enquiry. It is delivered to us by email and is not stored in a database on the website.
IP-based country detection. When you visit our homepage, your IP address may be sent to the third-party service ip-api.com to determine your country, solely so we can offer you the site in Turkish if you appear to be visiting from Türkiye. Only the country code is returned; we do not store your IP address, and no lookup is performed if you have already saved a language preference. ip-api.com processes the request under its own privacy terms.
Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). When fonts load, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address and user agent to Google. Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting. These are retained only as long as technically necessary.
2. Cookies
lang — a single first-party cookie that remembers your language preference (set when you choose English on the homepage). It stores only the value "en", lasts 30 days, and is used for nothing else.
We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If third-party cookies are ever introduced, this policy will be updated first.
3. Legal Basis and Purpose
- Contact form data — processed on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- Country detection and the language cookie — processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in serving the site in your language.
- We do not sell personal data, use it for profiling, or share it with third parties beyond the service providers named above.
4. Your Rights (GDPR & KVKK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Türkiye, you have rights under the GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), including the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed, and request access to it;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
- object to or request restriction of processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing;
- lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Türkiye: KVKK — Personal Data Protection Authority).

5. Data Retention and Security
Contact messages are kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up. We apply reasonable technical measures — including HTTPS across the entire site — to protect data in transit.
6. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
